The Foundation puts its fully furnished apartment in Bern near the university and the train station (5 minutes walking distance) at the disposal for stays between one (min.) and four months (max.). The rental price is CHF 220.- per week for one person. The apartment is conceived for a single person or a couple, possibly with two children (sleeping together on the in pull-out bed in the living room). There is no door between the living room (Wohnen) and the rest of the apartment. The "Foundation room" remains at the use of the Secretary of the Foundation. By applying for rental you confirm that you agree to the Rental Terms below (in German).
How to proceed to rent the apartment?
Only the receipt of the full rent by the Foundation on its postal account that makes the attribution of the apartment final and binding!

How to proceed to rent the apartment?
- Check first the availability
- Print the Application Form, the lease and Rental Terms (in German only)
- Have the Application Form and the Lease completed by the Swiss inviting institution (University, Museum, etc.) and sent back, only by scan, to the Foundation.
- As soon as the application is approved by the Board of the Foundation and the signed contract returned to the interested party, the agreed amount must be paid to the Foundation's account to make the reservation final.
- The keys will be remitted as agreed with the Secretary of the Foundation.
